The recent edition of ‘Meets Media’ organized by One Mic Naija sparkled at The Bridge Lounge; Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, Lagos as Ibe~Jii dazzled with a breath-taking performance much to the delight of the highly entertained audience.
The ‘Ayanfe’ crooner got the happy fans to their feet with his tuneful entrance which he dished out in his familiar Yoruba vernacular. Ibe~Jii, the eclectic African storyteller delivered his sensual tale of love and longing with energy and sensitivity; dexterously using his swerve and stage elegance to send the crowd on a journey of pleasure. The Poet, Thinker, Romantic, capped the hugely applauded performance with his delivery of ‘Kirakita’, adeptly employing the Yoruba proverb to pass across words of advice via african vibes twinned with international sounds to relay his message while pleasing the fans with his irresistible sounds.
The ‘Meets Media’ event which is an interactive media networking platform had the likes of Banky W, Joro Olomofin (Love Doctor), Emem Okocha, Geena Moore, Denola Grey and other media entrepreneurs in attendance as the crowd wined and dined and also being treated to a sweet experience of melodious tunes by Ibe~Jii and other artistes who performed during the event.
